Building classroom communit through drama education

The diploma thesis focus on building classroom community throuhg drama education. It examines and discovers the work in a team and the connestion of ties to the new class teacher. The selected pupil will be characterized by his behavior and relationship with his classmates. This diploma thesis focuses on monitoring the impact of methods and techniques of drama education on building the classroom climate of a given class in the fourth year of elementary school. He investigates and finds out about working in a team and connecting ties with the new class teacher. In the case of the selected student, he will characterize his behavior and relationship with his classmates. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the definition and concepts of drama education, as well as terminology from the field of school classroom climate, approaches. Furthermore, I will present an expert view on the characteristics of younger school-age pupils, who are the main subjects of the implementation of the practical part. The use of Tiger World® methodology in personality and social development of children in primary school

The diploma thesis is devoted to the development of personality and social education at the 1st grade of primary schools. As a tool for this development, I chose the Tiger World® method, which was described by Mr. and Mrs. Kops in their three books. Based on the study of this method and using the principles and means of personality and social education, I created preparations for individual lessons, which I applied in my core class. The knowledge presented in the theoretical part is the starting point for the practical part. In the first part, I define personality and social education, the concept of well-being and the classroom climate. These basic concepts are reflected in the practical part, where the given activities aim to promote well-being and a safe classroom climate. The basis for the given activities is provided by personality and social education, which defines goals, principles and means, and at the same time I am guided by these principles when working with children. The second half of the theoretical part deals with personality typology. Here I define the theoretical basis for the division of personality types according to temperament based on the MBTI theory. Resolving conflicts among students in a primary school classroom

The topic of the diploma thesis is the solution of problems / conflicts between pupils in the 5th year of primary school. It deals with the causes of conflict situations in the classroom, conflict resolution strategies and the possibilities of their prevention. In the theoretical part, I focus mainly on the characteristics of the quality classroom climate and the specifics of pupils at a younger school age. I will summarize the types and causes of conflicts between students and the possibilities of how to prevent them, especially through the targeted development of their social skills. In the empirical part, in the form of action teacher research, I will try to reduce the frequency of conflicts and increase their ability to manage them in the 5th grade classroom, where I work as a class teacher. I will use the questionnaire "Our class", recording and analysis of specific situations, interview with students and analysis of my own reflective diary. To improve the social skills of students, I will use methods and techniques, especially personal and social education, which I will regularly include in the teaching of students.
Creating a classroom climate with a pupil with a specific behavioral disorder.

The dissertation thesis is aimed at two mutually affecting topics - classroom climate and students suffering from the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Theoretical part of the thesis deals with the specifics of the ADHD and with the issue of educating students suffering from the disorder. The theoretical part also deals with the issue of classroom climate and its participants: teachers, students and their parents. The final part of the theory comments on the experts dealing with the participants of classroom climate; the members of school counselling centres. The empirical part of the thesis presents two-part qualitative research aimed at the question of the influence of the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) on the classroom climate. The second part of the research was oriented to the influence of a student suffering from the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) on other factors creating classroom climate. The outcome of the first research is represented by the multiple case study of students suffering from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), based on semi-structured interviews with students, their parents, teachers and other educational staff involved in the educational process in school. The outcome of the second research is represented by the case study of a classroom attended by students suffering from the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
The climate in the classroom - physical parameters

The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate a working environment in the classroom. The following parameters have been evaluated: noise, lighting, temperature, odours and gases in the air such as ammonia, nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide and methane. Measured values were compared with the legislation limits. Altogether 19 schools from South Bohemia Region were involved in the project.
Strategies for improving the class climate

The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. Practical part and theoretical part. The theoretical part is focused on the characteristics of the younger school age of pupils who are the subject of the practical part of the diploma thesis. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the personality of the teacher, who is one of the main co-creators of the class climate. Diagnostic tools are described here that are used to evaluate the climate of a given class. In the practical part, I use action research to verify which methods and forms of work have led to an improvement in the climate of my class. Effect of the Adaptation Course and Form Teacher Lessons on the Climate in the Sixth Class in Lower Secondary School

This thesis examines change of classroom climate in lower secondary school. In the theoretical part, issues of classroom climate, experiential pedagogy, adaptation courses and form teacher lessons are described from the perspective of different authors. The thesis introduces basic approaches for diagnosing classroom climate. It also gives instructions for management of form teacher lessons. B-3 questionnaire determines the current classroom climate and subsequent effects of the adaptation course among the respondents. Form teacher lessons are reported in this thesis, whose effect is also measured by the B-3 questionnaire in a longer period of the adaptation course. The results of the questionnaire investigation point to the need for regular form teacher lessons, in which the formation of a friendly climate in the classroom is realized.
Psychological aspects of a safe classroom climate

The theme of this bachelor thesis is a safe classroom climate. The first part provides a brief view on the complex issue of classroom climate and the second part focuses on this issue from the perspective of psychological aspects of a safe classroom climate. Psychological aspects are divided into developmental, personality and social-psychological. Part of the thesis is also a research project (a correlation study), which aims to determine the relationship between classroom climate and selected psychological characteristic - self-efficacy. Climate of a school class

Precis The diploma paper is concentrated on the subject of a school class climate and the related occurrence of bullying in various types of primary schools. Its theoretical part deals with the description and definition of the main topics: the classroom climate and the bullying in classroom. At the same time it focuses on the description of a student, teacher and their relationship; description of the display and prevention of bullying and last but not least it presents the conception of an alternative school. The practical part deals with research among the students as well as the teachers, with the goal to find out what the climate in the classroom is, to which degree bullying occurs, how much is education about abuse and bullying emphasised and what is the relationship between a student and a teacher. It simultaneously compares the unanimity of views between the student and the teacher on the given topic. In order to gain the needed data, students were given a questionnaire and a semi-standardised interview was carried out with the teachers.
Specifics of emergency remote teaching at basic school

1 ABSTRACT This thesis describes the topic of the specifics of emergency remote teaching at elementary school from the teacher's point of view. The theoretical part analyses the specialised literature concerning the topics of socialization, the student's activation, the educational methods as well as discipline at school. Furthermore, the research of the Czech school inspection was used, which analysed the situation of the Czech educational system during the pandemic of Covid-19. The practical part of the thesis introduces the methods employed to collect the data and its interpretation. The main part of the thesis describes the analysis of the interviews with the teachers of the lower-secondary school. A semi-structured interview was applied for the needs of the research. In addition, the author of the thesis had the possibility to join some of the online lessons of the interviewed teachers. The findings from these online lessons contributed to the data interpretation.
